Our residencies are fully customized to fit the needs of your school community!
The Three Elements of Our Murals
Design
We work closely with each school to understand their objectives and goals for their mural. The designs are created with student and staff input.
Teaching Artists
Each of our mural residencies are facilitated by professional Teaching Artists with mural painting experience. They will guide the group of students on the mural making process and help them work as a team to create a mural concept design and/or paint a mural in their own school!
Student Engagement
Your Students will learn how to use the elements of arts to visually communicate a message and how to transfer the mural design unto the wall. They will also know more about the painting techniques and supplies used in Muralism and how to use images/symbols to communicate a powerful message.
Why We Paint Murals
Students surrounded by colorful and stimulating artwork, are more likely to be in a positive mood and receptive to learning. Murals can also help to increase academic achievement, attainment, and reduce stress.
Getting involved in painting murals as an art activity can also help instill and foster creativity in the students and the teachers, boosting critical thinking and problem-solving skills in children since young age.
Our mural company can paint creative school murals filled with meaning and positive imagery in hallways, class rooms, libraries, stairways, outside walls of buildings, doors —anywhere with a blank wall!
